I'm interested in buying the Grand Canyon AL 7. I'd like to go on a bikepacking trip with this bike, so I'm looking for a rear rack (with panniers) that would fit on it.
This picture on Canyon's website shows a rack and panniers installed on the Grand Canyon AL, but I can't find that specific setup…
Canyon sell a rear rack, but it doesn't attach to the seat-stays and it has a maximum weight capacity of only 15kg.
I'm looking at the Ortlieb Quick Rack in size L or XL, but I worry that the derailleur of the Grand Canyon AL would be in the way of the Quick Rack's locking mechanism… This issue can be seen in this video at the 50 seconds mark (although it's on a different bike): https://youtu.be/VCNKnXk8S5A&t=50
What rear rack would you recommend for the Grand Canyon AL?
