My cheap commuter bike that I had upgraded with new drivetrain and wheels just got stolen over Christmas yay.

Found this White GX Lite (XXL för mina svenskar) 6 months old for US$850. 100% carbon fork and this is the best i could afford right now. The only problem is that I have to park this in my student apartment now because my faith in leaving my bike out has totally vanished.

Just ordered Onirii cable hydraulic disc brakes for $40 because thats the worst part of the bike and I can’t afford full hydro replacement and more importantly they’re easier to maintain for me.

Have wanted a gravel bike for a better part of a decade now but never had the opportunity until now, now that I have 50/50 paved and gravel paths i ride frequently. Really happy with how it rides, getting used to the drop bars still but surprisingly way more stable than i thought it would be. How’d i do? I have very little knowledge on parts and what’s good or not. Other than the mechanical discs which act more like a suggestion to think about braking rather than actually braking.

I had this bike. Paid around 750€ new in offseason. Its typically around 900€ in the summer. Yeah its XXL’s own brand i think. Not going to splain you about whats better value and what is not, enjoy the bike!
