Hi everyone! Have a little problem. I cant seem to figure out how to appraise used bikes. I saw this bike for $200 on facebook. Not sure if its for male or female. Also what tool would I need to remove the front wheel? It wouldnt fit in my baby SUV (Hyundai Kona) if the wheel isnt removed.. Im not a very handyman sort of person so even transporting it seems like an obstacle that stops me from buying a bike. Thank you!

Back in the day trek called their women’s bikes WSD (women’s specific design). This isn’t one.
It should have a quick release front wheel, just open the lever
Just from the pics, looks like it will fit someone about 5’6 to 5’8, regardless of gender. If the frame has no cracks, bends or chips plus the bike rides straight, brakes well and shifts smoothly, then it’s likely worth buying. If it needs any work at all, then skip it.
Bikes aren’t really gendered, although often times “Mixte” frames or frames with a lowered top tube are called women’s bikes. Regardless genders really don’t matter; women’s bikes just tend to be smaller and have different color options.
This is probably a medium-size frame. Akin to a 54cm road bike with horizontal top tube. Probably would fit 5’5″-5’10” or so.
