Hello internet,
Looking to get some input on the SST stem by crust. I want to get a little more upright on my Sour Crumble for “bikepacking” mode. I recently purchased some Doom bars and have been experimenting with different stems and I just can’t seem to get the feel I’m looking for. It descends well, but doesn’t feel the greatest when just pumping out miles in the saddle ya know?
Anyone try this stem? The one pinch bolt for the steer tube makes me nervous. Concerns about going too tall? I’ve got a generic stem that is 34mm that I’ll be trying but doesn’t add much in the way of stack aside from being shorter than the profile stem pictured.

Have you checked out the Discord Cheddah or Peeper? They’re stout with 2 bolts. In fact I think I have a Cheddah in my parts bin that I should list on the Rad Bazaar.
