I have a nice bike that I take bikepacking and for day rides but it’s also a bit expensive to leave outside the pub or shops whenever I’m jaunting around town. I’m looking at either a single gear for £200 or this… just wondering if anyone knows if £250 is on par?

Ss or this one ill take this one. And 200 is in my opinion the max of this bike. I see some new tires and maybe some cables. But nothing special. Great bike all in all
I would say this is expensive for this. Is feel more comfortable in the $180 range. Gives you money for the tune up it for sure needs.
Idk, I never really see the value for a bike like this. Someone is trying to make a bit of money here – which is fine, but it’s also a full or half day of work + 80£ of bare minimum parts put into an old MTB.
I’d rather either buy an old non-fixed up MTB and do the build up myself, or get a less cool looking Trekking bike with better components for less money. But this hinges on you being able to build yourself of course.
thats a par
you can definitely get better for 250 quid, but if you’ve got the money and don’t wanna wait, go for it
most people in this sub would call that too expensive, but if it’s in decent shape, wear parts don’t need to be changed right away, it shifts and brakes good. then it’s not a bad price.
I’ve always wondered about handlebars up at an extreme angle like that. Seems like it would be really uncomfortable and hurt the wrists.
edit: also looks like the front derailleur isn’t positioned properly
