What is this part? Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 7 Di2

Just unboxed and built my Canyon Aeroad CF SLX7 Di2 and noticed this ring-like part on the floor. Anyone know what this might be? 2nd image for size reference.

Then (third image) there was also this tiny thing in a plastic bag, I think it came with the Di2 docs.
