Day 1: The Adventure Begins – London to Dieppe 🚴♂️
Day one of our 4-day cycling trip to France kicked off with a ride to Finsbury Park Station, where we hopped on the train to Brighton. After a quick lunch by the seaside, we cycled along the beautiful coast to Newhaven to catch the 17:00 ferry to Dieppe.
We arrived in Dieppe with plenty of time and headed straight to our Airbnb, which was on the 3rd floor up some very narrow, winding stairs, carrying our fully loaded bikes was definitely a challenge! Our host was lovely, and we went straight to bed to rest up for an early start for the 100km ride the next day.
All in all, a successful first day with smooth connections, great views, and a taste of the adventure ahead.
