I was looking for an old mtb frame in XL size in some colorway with Maryland flag colors, but lucked into this project that the previous owner had started with grips and pedals (last photo) so I just went ham with the blue/purple. My quiver was lacking a gravel bike and around-town cruiser that could handle our garbage roads better than 25-28mm tires, so here it is. Just finished it, rode it around the neighborhood and I love it. Unsure if I'll throw one of my rear racks on, an ill-fitting frame bag, or get a bag sized properly.

Looks alright, but a little too much of that accent color for me. Especially around the crank.
Time to dip some of those pink anodized parts in an NaOH bath and make them shiny silver. I liked the older derailleur better too. this black one looks a bit oversized for that cassette.
$15 aliexpress crankset is certainly a choice
