I am having a hard time with this generic Shimano SM-SP18 cable guide that came on my bike's BB, because the way that it routes the front shifter cable makes it hit the downtube. The rattling is making me crazy and I have come up with this cable guide design that would do the proper job.
Any ideas on where I could find one to buy that is simmilar to what I drew? Or how hard/effective would designing and 3D-printing it would be?

Why not just put a donut around the cable?
I’m more concerned about the routing of the FD cable after the downtime – is it routed properly? It should hug the BB, not continue down the chain stay.
That’s a hard angle for the cable to turn on a surface like that. The cable will want to saw through the guide or slip off when slack. I’d try donuts like the other poster said.
But otherwise I don’t think this is a particularly hard thing to 3D print. I’d print it flat and then heat it and mold it around the BB shell.
I think you routed the cable the wrong way. It should go through the hole between the chainstays, by the chainstay bridge.
I’ve just cut a piece of PVC pipe to a desired shape, filed grooves as needed, and stuck it on with mounting tape. I added a smalll wire bail to retain the cable when slack.
