I have this chainset (Cues FC-U6000 165mm version) with a 32T chainring. It is 96 BCD asymetrical.
Shimano make some larger Cues chainrings but they are 110 BCD.
Does anyone know of a 38T or even 40T chainring 96 BCD Asymetrical that will fit on this particular crankset?

  1. Are you sure it’s going to fit the frame? Nofi but did you even search? Just look for a 96 BCD chainring they are quite common as Shimano has already made this for quite some time. Wolftooth as an example makes at least up to 38T

  2. Take a good look at your chain stay and see if you can adjust that chain line in any way before you put anything bigger than a 34 on that crank. There are countless cheap chain rings on AliExpress that work with the asymmetrical 96 bcd but in my experience they don’t last as long as your typical shimano ring.

  3. I think your main problem isn’t the BCD but the clearance between the chainring and your chain-stay. From the look of your picture (32T chainring installed) a 38T or 40T will collide with the chainstay and thus won’t fit with the current BB and crankset combination installed.
