I take some rest in Mphaki, a remote village in the mountains of Lesotho. I start the day with a bucket shower in the cold weather of the kingdom in the sky, then I go in search of food. I somehow find the famous potatoes of Mphaki, and as I eat my potatoes, the fascinating life of a remote African village slowly unfolds. Mysterious people appear now and then, with joy and curiosity. Others are shy.
Finally, I witness the community work people do every Saturday in the villages.
Life in Africa has something truly fascinating. My journey through Lesotho is one of the greatest experiences in my life.

  1. Very funny 😂.Yves says he'll check next door if there's something different to eat and she goes with him.Shes running both shops . Laurel & Hardy stuff😅😅

  2. In South Africa we have such a misconception that all people are bad, we always have to look over our shoulders, but watching Yves' videos made me realise that people are good in general. Watching the news and always hearing about attacks and robberies it is such a small group of evil people, we should celebrate each other's cultures like Yves does.

  3. I discovered Yves some weeks ago and finally caught up with his journey. I watched all the videos starting from France to now in Lesotho. Can’t wait to watch the journey to west Africa.

  4. That shower is called " Shooter by Richard Kay" . It is named after department of conservationists, New Zealand CIO Richard Kay who invented the system. Protected by intellectual property. SHOOTER!

  6. You must go up Thaba Bosiu, yes, and let a good tourist guide tell you the story of King Mishoeshoe the first, father of the Nation!! There is a fantastic historical link with France up there just waiting for you to experience
