I've had this DRUGINC étude fixed gear bike built up for a while now, and I’ve got to say—it’s so much fun to ride. Even though the complete build weighs in at 7.8kg, it feels incredibly nimble and playful, and the handling is just right. The looks are clean too: a white frame with black components keeps it simple, without any fussy details (aside from the wheelset and crankset, most parts were swapped over from my road bike, so it’s definitely a budget-friendly build).
I bought a 54t Zen chainring, but my chain isn’t long enough to fit it yet, so I’m just running the one that came with the crankset for now.
Riding fixed gear really is a different experience. Even though this bike didn’t cost much, it brings me more joy than any other bike I’ve owned—the more I ride it, the more I love it.
