Sadly, this is a very short film recorded by Graham Sutton, but one worth documenting for Cycle Speedway history. This was Wednesfield v Blackley at Southampton in the 1978 British Team Final that Wednesfield won 94 -81. The Aces scorers were Alan Guest 17, Rob Hoyle 17, Roger Ellis 15, Mike Baugh 13, Mick Aris 10, Mick Pedley 7, Colin Nicholls 7, Gerald Banks 4.
Blackley scorers were John Whiting 16, Paul Hulme 13, John Watchman 12, Dennis Torr 11, Steve Crook 11, Kevin Greenhalgh 8, Les Bowden 8, Steve Davidson 2.
