Hello, I bought a used 2018 Trek Émonda and while cycling today I noticed the front derailleur was a little loose. Upon closer inspection, I realized the mounting bracket was loose. After applying a little force, I discovered it was simply glued and riveted in place, without an aluminum insert. Was this a standard way to mount derailleurs back then? How can I fix it?

5 minute epoxy and 3 new rivets.
He rivets are broken and this needs to be professionally repaired, or a good time to convert to 1x
I think that’s the normal way the front derailleur mount is attached to the frame. Probably a shop can reinstall it.
Should be able to be reinstalled using slightly larger rivets, your local bike shop should be able to make the repairs
