A few days ago I made a post asking for guidance on Specializedโ€™s โ€œSโ€ sizing scheme. The majority seemed to recommend S3 which I fall about in the middle in based on my height. I was expecting to need to order one from one of my local stores and wait a week but I found an S3 in the build I wanted within 30 minutes of my home. Yay!

So, picked this up early this morning and got to try it out on some slushy gravel paths near me after getting home. I think I made the right choice! S3 feels like my epic but perhaps a bit longer.

This is my first bike with electronic anything. Iโ€™ll need to fine tune the dropper and shifter pads/buttons since I was having a harder time reaching them. But otherwise, they operated just like I expect them too on the shortish ride I took. The brakes are the strongest Iโ€™ve ever ridden.๐Ÿ˜ฒIโ€™ll need to get used to those too.

So, thank you to those Redditors who gave me input! So glad I could get advice and make a purchase like this with more confidence. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™
