I needed fat bike cranks for an upcoming analog full suspension fat bike project. I was interested in getting cranks that would allow the use of a crank-based 4iiii power meter, since that can be calibrated to show the same values as the meters on my other bikes. There aren’t many options like that on the MTB side, except for Shimano Hollowtech cranks—and we all know Shimano doesn’t make fat bike cranks.

But the Chinese do 🙂 So these cranks are Shimano Hollowtech compatible (I tested this with a Shimano crank shown in the photo). A fun extra detail is that the chainring mounting standard is SRAM Direct Mount. At least at first glance, they seem to be of decent quality, and the crank dimensions are very close to Shimano’s originals.

The only difference is that there’s no small hole at the end of the crank for the little pin that sits between the crank bolts. That can be drilled if needed.
