Is this a good deal?

This will be my first mountain bike and I don’t really know the market.

2018 Specialized Stumpjumper Large going for $995.

Description:

My son bought this bike 4 years ago and rode it for a good 2 years. Upgraded the fork to a Rock Shox Yari and then only rode the bike a few times after that. Only "problem" with the bike is that there is a cosmetic dent in the right seat stay that occurred in shipping when I first bought the bike. He’s ridden it hard for two years with that and never had an issue with it. The back tire just recently got a new tube in it and the front is tubeless. The bike has been maintained well and still rides and feels great, just waiting for a new owner!
