Posted here yesterday about a Sunrace derailleur hanger extender that didn't line up properly with the mounting point on my 1970s Koga-Miyata Gent's Touring.
Advice was to buy a Wolftooth Roadlink, which I did so. However, the Roadlink doesn't align with the derailleur hanger either. In fact, it's perhaps even further out than the cheapo Sunrace one!
Do I just have a weird old hanger style that is incompatible with modern derailleur components?
I'm building up a 1×10 drivetrain and am trying to get an Ultegra 6600 10 speed RD to work with a 11-36T Deore cassette so what would my options be? Do I even need an extender for the Ultegra to find the largest sprocket? The front chainring is a 42T

I be honest, you best off buying a Shimano M3020 and run it (can work with 10 speed)
I would get a mountain bike rear D. What is the deal with 1X? I don’t get it.
