It is an 8mm hex bit – just slimed down to only two contact points so it fits in a small multi tool

It’s a 8mm bit that’s flattened. I’ve always wondered how these are to use.Â

8mm or 10mm allen, you use it with the smaller one on the side for a better fit at the bolt

Its just a compact large allen socket. It should work the same it just wont fit in the space.

Yes it’s really only meant for emergencies out on the road and only tightened enough to get you home to a full size Allen wrench.

It is a very handy tool for converting a hexagon socket into an 8 mm round hole.
This should only be used in the unlikely event that you need to tighten a pedal on the side of the road.
Do not use it unless you absolutely have to.

8mm allen key for tightening pedals. Don’t use it except in emergencies, but it might just get you home at a push!
