This was my first ever food delivery shift using a car, delivering around Cambridge instead of my usual e-bike setup — and honestly, it didn’t go how I expected.
The shift itself already felt off, but part way through I got some bad news that completely killed the mood. Hearing that my e-bike had been stolen while I was out working made it hard to stay focused, and it definitely changed how the rest of the shift felt.

I don't get why people steal ebikes, when you need the charger,, unless they stol that too? pointless to steal, if it was a regular non-ebike, which are mostly stolen. See if you dont find it abandon or online local marketplace being sold off, keep a eye out, if you have one.

Love the videos and really sorry about the e-bike! I do think these companies are taking the mickey though – youre barely earning minimum wage, and thats before petrol, vehicle wear and tear, and insurance. And even thats not guaranteed! Youre doing a great job though and I guess the channel helps make deliveries more viable.

Really sorry bike got stolen!.. couple of points to make. Always get your bike insured and get a diamond rated lock as well. a litelok would do the trick defo slow them down. For driving, a couple of tips. Dont drive down somewhere you dont know you can come out of, i used to get stuck a few times. never use just eat as per usual lol… and make a list of all the places that you wont drive down or deliver to i.e. rude people. makes life better

Sorry your bike was stolen, i had mine stolen when i was away for a christmas, it was right by a police station… If you want to take my e bike your welcome to have my cube as i got it as a replacement used and barely use it now as have a car.
Parking seems to be a massive issue even on Sunday, mad! Coincidence when you said thank you so much, tarmac on road before roundabout said "Thank You NHS". Sorry to hear about the bike, I hope you are able to recover it. Try a different area next time, somewhere nearby, Oxford maybe?
