one of the easiest maintenance jobs – I do that ever two years or 5'000 km, whatever happens first. It's done in 30 minutes:
- take the pedal off the crank
- unscrew the axles (two 2.5 mm hex bolts for Crankbrothers Stamp 7)
- unscrew the overflow screw at the tip of the axle (CB specific)
- clean everything
- fill the pedal with grease
- stick the axle in – grease must come out of the overflow hole. If not: fill in a bit more grease
- screw the axle tight
- close the overflow hole
- mount the pedal to the crank
rinse and repeat ;o)
