Had to cut these small tensioner bolts (?) from the dropouts of a 70s Koga-Miyata frame after they got bent during transit. What are they called and do I need to replace them?
Had to cut these small tensioner bolts (?) from the dropouts of a 70s Koga-Miyata frame after they got bent during transit. What are they called and do I need to replace them?
I believe they’re called Dropout adjusters? I’m not entirely sure if you could just replace them with same length bolts. Might need to research more on those

If I use the original springs, would a standard M3 bolt (40mm long) with a domed nut loctited on the outside end work?

I believe they’re called Dropout adjusters? I’m not entirely sure if you could just replace them with same length bolts. Might need to research more on those
