long, steady gravel and road ride-along designed for indoor trainers or relaxed background viewing.

This mixed-surface “groad” loop starts on the Bournemouth beach promenade, heads out by road through Sandbanks and Lilliput, then joins the Castleman Trailway off-road from Poole to Ringwood before returning by road to the coast rejoining the promenade via Southbourne and back to Bournemouth Pier.

The video is intentionally long and lightly edited, with on-screen ride stats for context and comparison. Some viewers use them, others ignore them — both are fine.

There’s no structured workout, no intervals, and no targets. Just steady motion, changing scenery, and a ride you can settle into while training indoors.

If you’re riding along on a turbo trainer, feel free to enjoy the ride ASMR with BTS ride chat or mute the audio and use your own soundtrack.

  1. Been riding the Castleman trailway for years and the state of the part from Colehill to Ferndown/ west moors gets worse every year, if only BCP spent some of the money maintaining it rather than on most of the useless poorly designed bike paths on the roads.
