You can cycle from London Bridge south of the river to Rotherhithe entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.
The route is 2.9km long (1.8 miles) and makes use of Cycleway 14, Cycleway 4 and other quiet streets in the area.

Nice route through busy south London streets. Always a pleasure to watch your videos every Sunday. Keep them rolling
not to be a snob but im pretty sure even when turning left at 4:18 you're meant to wait at the 2nd set of red lights on that side road, that pedestrian phase was green and there was a stop line on the ground! worth to point out i think
Just beyond the pub you highlight, on the right is s very nice cafe with seats in the churchyard. Good for coffee and cake, but note there is no toilet. Also, just where you turned on Q14 in to the final avenue for Rotherhithe station, on the left is the brilliant Brunel Museum, open each weekend and grimly fascinating.
Another great video and lovely to see all the cycle routes in London.
I think the issue with the 'must turn right' sign at 1:23 is because that is the only legal option for motor vehicles. With Bermondsey Road being one-way except for cyclists perhaps they should have had an 'except cycles' sign.
Nice short route. Thought that the C4 cycle infrastructure was really good, as cyclists have a good wide lane. Nice sunny day. Thanks for sharing.
Confusing one-way sign @2:20 that cyclists are supposed just to ignore?
This is my daily commute! Really cool to see it posted here, keep up the amazing work!
Hi, is it possible to cycle on protected areas to Westminster from Wembley while avoiding Kennsington and Chelsea? The Reagent's Canal helps a lot since neither Brent nor Kennsington and Chelsea boroughs have good cycling infrastructure
Nice quieter option to get to London Bridge station rather than Tooley street
Super interesting. I stayed at the a&o Docklands riverside hotel (previously Hilton) in Rotherhithe recently. I think it’s one of the best priced hotels in London so I’ll definitely be using this route next time.
All the guests get free unlimited ferry rides from the docks connected to the hotel!
Ey up mate!
Thanks for sharing
Take care!
Unexpected to find myself in the thumbnail. Love the vids, keep it up!
To download GPX maps of your ride do you need to be members of KOMOOT or is there a paywall?
