Please share insights on both of these bikes, are they good value? Thank you!

Hi!

I am looking to buy a bicycle after my Specialized was stolen (rip). I am torn between two options, both being older road bicycle.

One is a 90's red Lotus with the seller's note reading (1 picture), the other one '76 silver Sekai (6 pictures).

Available pictures of both:

• Sekai pictures
• Lotus picture

Both sellers mention the bikes being in a good condition, no issues with brakes, gear shifting, tires, etc. Both are being sold for $175.

I'm not a bike expert at all, so would probably be riding them as is, maybe a tune-up in the near future. I'm attaching the photos available for both bikes.

What would you consider either of this to be a good deal? Which would you consider the better deal?

I'm in a small college town, so the second hard market tends to run pricier than in bigger cities already. I'd be using the bike as my daily transportation method.
