We set out to cross Iceland from north to south by bicycle.
Not following the coast, but cutting straight through the heart of the island — across volcanic deserts, glacial rivers, and a landscape that feels more like another planet than a country.
For days, there is nothing. No shops. No towns. No shelter except small huts scattered across the highlands. The wind decides our speed. The rivers decide our rhythm. Sometimes we take off our shoes. Sometimes we don’t. Either way, our feet get wet. The water is ice-cold. The land is silent.
We ride through black sand and steaming hills. Through endless plains and sudden bursts of color near Landmannalaugar. We camp where moss feels like grass again. We disappear into emptiness, and slowly re-emerge into green.
Every day is shaped by weather.
Every kilometer by effort.
Every crossing by trust.
And then, after days of riding between fire and ice, the mountains fall away and the land opens.
The ocean appears — blue, with white foam on its waves.
We lay our bikes down on the gray sandy beach and raise our hands into the air, because there is nowhere left to go.
We came to cross Iceland.
And somewhere between the rivers and the ridges, it crossed us too.

Nice one!! 👍👍👍
Okay. Tell me this. I’ve watched all your videos. Your narration is so well scripted. To that you add songs that are part of the story. How do you write such a catchy story line weaving in it figure of speeches? If i could do that, i would start posting my mediocre videos.

Dus bijvoorbeeld 2x2x8 = 32 kg water ?
