In this video, we explore the Italian Riviera 🇮🇹 and one of its hidden gems: a former railway line turned into a spectacular coastal cycle path between Sanremo and Imperia, also known as the Riviera dei Fiori (Flower Riviera).

Following the trail from west to east, we take you through charming seaside towns like Sanremo, Arma di Taggia, Riva Ligure, Santo Stefano al Mare, San Lorenzo al Mare and Imperia — with beach stops, café breaks, historic old towns and plenty of postcard views along the way.

Even if you’re not a cyclist, this route is perfect: flat, scenic, traffic-free and ideal for slow travel. You can explore it by bike, on foot, or simply use it as inspiration to discover lesser-known towns on the Ligurian coast.
