Its a total shit pit of a centre Hanley is deserted the potteries shopping centrw. Is a ghost mall . The place has nothing. No music scene. No art scene. No club scene. No shopping scene . Everything shut down and on its way out. Decline is beyond belief. In the early 90s it was vibrant and had a music scene decent clubs and Hanley was rammed on Saturday nights. Now its a ghost town.
Why'd you get off in Stafford, that was a bit silly ? I was born in Kidsgrove ( near Stoke) , grew up in Australia, now live back here in Stoke. The people that come from here are sound. My family here are brill.. BUT…. it's full of drugs, illegal vape shops , illegal barbers, nail shops, monkey dusters, crackheads, half of Eastern Europe , half of Western Africa. WELL DONE STOKE COUNCIL. WELL DONE THE CURRENT AND LAST TWO GOVERNMENTS . Completely 4KT a decent city.

In a parallel universe there would be a second train station in Hanley & trams linking all the small towns including Newcastle Under Lyme. In this universe you have to bus it to the main centre of Stoke🤷🏻♂️ You know where they waste their money money HS2 for starters.
