Gravel cycling in the Dublin mountains. I went up to Dublin for the Specialized Ireland gravel ride. I borrowed a bike from the shop and that the time of my life trying a different type of cycling. Gravel is always the best bit of fun on a bike.

  1. I'm riding 30 years but at this stage I no longer see the enjoyment in those conditions… Fair play to ye for doing it though. A lot of that is more mountain biking than gravel. Amazing what the bikes can actually do, but my gravel bike definitely has a handier life than that. Maybe you're better off using the shop bikes

  2. That gravel spin looked like some craic. Apart from getting wet is it better in the rain?? Also the 14th Dec like what kind of average pacing might you be doing. I'd hate to be slowing down the group or hanging off the back, if I can make it. One more q do you still have the roubaix?
