

















Bought from new, (custom at that time) racing green colour seemed appropriate. Still is.
14 teeth rear, originally 50 front, but soon settled for 44 (2009).
Battle scars
- Corrosion in seat tube after heavy winter (mis)use
- Threads from loose suspension bolt gnawed a keyhole shape in the triangle
- Triangle's hinge replaced in 2011 and will be again soon (I think)
Pimping
- The original Brooks B17 special does not have titan rails, but look closer and find it has something perhaps even more desirable!
- Original Basta dynamo lights gradually replaced with B&M toplight flat 5 plus (2014) and green Edelux II (2014) and toplight 2c (2022). Front safety reflector is an AXA Basta 00926 EAN 8713249092300, dismantled and side mounted on a shared extended 6 mm bolt and a regular 10 mm hex, a nyloc and a wing nut holding the Edelux as well. Started out with a regular Edelux (I) in 2013, but well… those were not exactly green, were they?
- Did buy new grey replacement foam for the handlebar, but settled for installing tape instead (2013). Saving for a rainy day. Or the opposite.
- Brompton EZ rollers (2013)
- KCNC green pulley wheels (on ceramic bearings – very important!) (2013) and bullet valve caps (triktopz Union Jacks on special occations)
