Episode 12 – From Arbroath to Inverbervie, this stretch of the UK coastline ride was one of the toughest yet. I didn’t know it at the time, but the reason my energy had crashed was simple — I almost certainly had COVID.

Despite feeling drained, I pushed through along the Scottish east coast, passing Lunan Bay and Montrose, before a chance meeting with a true Fife legend — a man who would later return in this series to help me out of a serious situation.

We reached Inverbervie Beach early, spotted a distant school of dolphins, and ended the day in one of our most unique stays so far — sleeping on a camp bed in the local Scout Hall. Proof that kindness and simplicity can make even the hardest days memorable. 🐾🌊
