Today’s shift was an absolute stitch-up.

I went out for a quick Friday lunchtime Deliveroo… and instantly got ambushed by the British weather.

Started sunny, genuinely blue skies, and within 20 minutes it turned into a full-on monsoon.

Wind slapping me in the face, soaked through my coat, camera on life support, and a Coke cup in the bag threatening to explode the whole journey.

But hey, that’s courier life. Honest, messy, wet, unpredictable… and somehow still a vibe.

In this episode of Brum Eats, I’m out on Deliveroo on a busy Birmingham Friday lunch.

Canals, cycle paths, grim roads, wind tunnels, soggy bags, dodgy packaging, and me praying the mic doesn’t drown.

And of course, the legendary “drink in a cup with zero support” makes a triumphant return.
If you like the real side of UK courier work, the rain, the graft, the chaos, you’ll enjoy this one.

Expect:
– Soaked clothes within 5 minutes 🌧️
– A Coke cup with no business surviving
– British weather betrayal
– Wind resistance training
– Hyper-paranoid pockets
– Honest courier graft around Birmingham
– A tense final handover that somehow works out

If you’re new here, welcome to Brum Eats, Birmingham’s rawest courier vlog series.

If you’re not new… you already know the weather hates me.

  1. What a shift!

Went out for a quick Friday lunch Deliveroo and got hit with a full on monsoon.

Soaked, wind battered, and a Coke cup in the bag somehow survived.

We’re also getting very close to 1,000 subs, so thank you! Genuinely!

    1K special idea:
Do you want to see me do a full shift on an e-scooter?

    Let me know below!

  2. Happy birthday! You share a birthday with Ozzy! That was good of your dad, we love a supportive family! Get yourself a crossbar bag for your bits and bobs, reduce the pocket carnage lol

  3. Sunny at first then the rain makes it's presence known, you should get a weather app so you'll know how the weather's gonna be in the daytime and nighttime. No spillage this shift so that's a plus, great video Jack. Shout out to your Pops 👍🏼👍🏼🎒🚲🍽

  4. Happy birthday buddy, hope you have/had an amazing day. This happened to me about 2 weeks ago at night. It was raining so badly that one customer asked me if I was ok or needed a towel to dry off. I looked like a drowned rat by the end of it 😂

  5. I run a gopro off a 10ah powerbank, i just remove the gopro battery and it films for 12 hours. Do you lock your back wheel to the frame when there are no posts nearby? How's your shoulder now?

  6. bro. i am ubereats rider and i am only available from 8am to 3pm,, so which are your recomond for me. i am live in B8 area and moped

  7. Still waiting for Bradley Walsh to appear with the suspense music 🤣 what a nightmare shift lad but gotta show the reality of it aswell.
And title should have been ‘I managed to make it through the rough areas and canal and somehow wasn’t robbed or involved in a fight with a family of geese’. Crackin video as usual lad but lose the suspense music 🤣 and you get yourself in 🤣😉
