I’ve been studying and wrenching on vintage bikes for a decade and a half. I have many books about them, including the classic “The Dancing Chain”. I’ve read many more magazine articles, blog posts, and more about them. I own a commercial shop with thousands of customers and tons of old bikes. I’ve never seen a dropout of that shape. Nothing comes readily to mind. Honestly perplexed, here.
