My gf needed a bike, so I found this Miyata for $50 on FB. Added new tires, made it 1x (just took off the rings), replaced the integrated shifter/brake combos with old Shimano wave action levers and a deore xt shifter, put some ergon ga3 grips on the Nitto Billie bars, replaced the chain, and replaced the old seatpost with a parts bin aliexpress titanium post, and new cambium.
Was for her, but secretly, it’s for me 🙂
