$999 is a lot of money for a rim brake bike. If you’re wanting to use your bike for triathlons I’d like to see you get something with aero bars if you’re paying this much for a bike potentially from 2011… If you’re paying $1000 for a 15 year old bike it should be exactly what you want and it should be perfectly maintained.
