I haven't punctured in the last 2 months of consistent riding, but they're cracking and wearing down. How much further can I expect them to last me, or are they long-gone? Done about 1800kms on them, they're my first 'proper' set of training tyres.

Thanks!

  1. I would ride them. None of the cords are damaged.

(from what I can see. If you start feeling a thump that’s another matter)

  2. Tires are safe to ride but I’d definitely start looking for new tires. Also, what are you doing to this bike that the tires look like that after only 1800kms?

  3. I thought that was a pin through the tyre until I realised it was a piece of skin sticking up on your thumb and a spec of dust on the tyre.

  4. I wouldn’t ride them. They’re cracked and rotted. Even if they don’t blow up, they won’t ride well.

  5. Looks like dry rot, wouldnt ride them, my friend had a massive crash that put him in a hospital riding on tires like this.
