A couple years ago I posted the photo of one of the bike parkings at our company. Recently it was renovated and I’m not sure if I like it or not. Sure, the racks are wider (so speed pedelecs with wider tires fit) are they spaced wider as well, so bikes with front baskets don’t block three places, plus – most of the racks have an electrical outlet for e-bike charging, but at the same time they got rid of the double-decker racks so the parking capacity is effectively halved (and yes, those top racks were always in use).

Does it ever fill up? I’d love to see something like this in the States.
Wow, how big is your company? There is a lot of bike parking.
I live in USA, so most people drive. With around 800 employees, we have indoor monitored bike parking for around 6 bikes. Very difficult to squeeze our bikes in there if anyone has side pannier.
The site is office park with other companies. There are likely around 2000 employees in the entire complex. There is bike cage in garage (for around 15 bikes), but that cage has been broken into, so my company informed us not to park there.
Can’t have it all better rack for everyone but less seems fair. Even the fact that they provide that space take your win and roll with it.
Do they have plans to expand the number of spaces later? Maybe a section for close-packed bikes that don’t need all that space?
We have those exact same racks for the bike parking at the University of Florida (USA), so I guess I can feel good about having something in common with Dutch cyclists?
We have a spiderweb outdoor shed with 8 racks.
I had this feeling of Déjà vu when I saw this photo. I feel I’ve parked a bike here haha
We’ve just moved into a new building in the city and we have storage for 70 bikes. First day in the new office so I’ve literally just been down to have a look. This is just one wall of racks.
