IMO this is one of the best vintage 90s mountain bike frames you can find. This was just a step under the Team Marin from the year, and I believe (don’t quote me on this) that the only difference between the frames were component specs, and even then, this one came with White Industries hubs and such. So it’s premium steel, from the last time in history when this would be a selling point for a bicycle, and it’s pre-suspension takeover, when bikes like this became wonky and suspension corrected. And you are lucky enough to get the original fork.
It’s a cool bike. If I had one of these, I’d put it in the front of the stable.

And the sick Mavic Crossmax wheels. This bike deserves more than just parts bin build. Also have you already been using these wheels? I have the same set and the brakes just SCREAM. I think it’s an issue with the pads and the ceramic rim brake surface not liking each other.
