I’m on the hunt for a second hand hybrid bike with an XL frame and this has come up about 1 hour from me. Listed for £100. I was wondering a couple of things…first how do I know what year it is from?
Next…I know nothing really about bikes other than trek make good quality ones! XL frames are very hard to come by second hand so I’m thinking I might go and check it out. Just wanted the experts to cast their eye to see if anything looks unusual?

I can’t tell you the year, but it’s not that old. Those Bontrager H2 Comp tires look like the same that came with my FX3 from last year. And that red alignment sticker on the front derailleur would bug me. Those are supposed to get removed once the FD is aligned.
I use Gemini for this and it’s been pretty good identifying bikes without model numbers/years listed.
