Day 3 Callander to Killin – 4K

The cycling trip from Clydebank to Inverness and back to Oban, originally planned for 10 days, was shortened to 9 days due to a storm, missing the Oban stage out. The route involved cycling 504km, starting on National Cycle Route 7 near Glasgow, passing through the Trossachs National Park, climbing upwards to the Grampian mountain region before reaching Inverness. The return route followed the Great Glen, along the shores of Loch Ness to Fort Augustus, before ending in Fort William. From Fort William we returned to Clydebank via the new ‘Active Travel Train’ which has space for up to 20 bicycles.
