Our journey through Germany brought us to Hannover, a vibrant city shaped by history, movement, and everyday life.
After a brief stop in Hamburg, we traveled by train to Hannover to reconnect with a friend we met last winter in Stockholm. What followed wasn’t a checklist of attractions, but a lived-in experience of the city. Neighborhood walks, street art, bustling markets, and moments of reflection that revealed how deeply the past and present coexist here.
From the powerful WWII dioramas inside Hannover New City Hall, to the energy of Markthalle Hannover, and the quiet remembrance preserved at Aegidienkirche, this visit offered something deeper than sightseeing.
Hannover is busy, loud, and alive. But what drew us in was connection. For a short time, we weren’t just passing through. We became part of the city’s rhythm.
Thanks for traveling with us.
