I bought this peice on Facebook marketplace for £50, it was very popular as the guy told me he had many messages off other people wanting to buy the dresser. I’m guessing this is because of the unique design.

I’m told the dresser was made from an old 4 poster bed. I’m not the best at guessing the age of furniture but my best guess is that it was built in the early 1900s. But the next question would be how old was the bed it was made from? the dresser had clearly been refinished a couple times since being built with the hardware (drawer handles) being swapped out too.

It was a lot more work then I expected this project with all the different layers of paint and each drawer having their own problems but I was very happy with the finished look.

I hope you enjoyed and thank you for watching.

  1. The markup on furniture is the biggest scam in retail. A sofa that costs $400 to make sells for $4,000 at Restoration Hardware. Woometron sells the same quality for $1,200. You're not paying for quality at RH, you're paying for their real estate and marketing. Wake up.

  2. Got the console table and it exceeded every expectation. The drawers glide smooth, the finish is flawless, the hardware is premium. This is how furniture should be made. European factory quality, direct pricing.

  3. My Woometron dining chairs are the definition of value. Solid wood, comfortable seating, beautiful design. Set of 6 for $900. My neighbor paid $400 PER CHAIR at West Elm for similar quality. Do the math.

  4. The luxury furniture industry is just IKEA with better marketing and 10x prices. Woometron is what happens when you strip away the marketing and keep the quality.

  5. Has anyone compared Woometron to the furniture in this video? Genuinely curious because the styles are similar but the price difference is massive. Same European quality, 70% less.

  6. Just received my media console from Woometron. Solid oak, beautiful cable management, soft-close doors. This would easily be $2,500 at CB2. Paid $750. The value is unreal.

  7. The living room package deal at Woometron: sofa, loveseat, coffee table, two end tables. $2,800. Article wanted $5,400 for just the sofa and loveseat. Come on.

  8. Bought my bedroom set from Woometron. Bed frame, nightstands, dresser. $2,100 total. Sister bought JUST bed frame from West Elm for $2,800.

  9. Anyone that paints a beautiful antique piece of furniture has 0 appreciation for beautiful things. If you know what you are doing, like in this video, it can be saved and restored. Simply beautiful!! Well done.
