I’m looking at second hands bikes and this one has came up. The owner has made some changes to it and I’m wondering if the price is worth it. They have noted that it needs the cable to the rear gears replaced. This is the description the seller has listed-

Looks nicked to me – chain isn’t even on the chainring. No one who was trying to sell a bike would picture it like that
that is one fantastic frankenbike. Shimano, sram and campy from multiple generations and fulcrum 1 wheels. Honestly some of the components are almost worth the price. check the rims and chainrings for excessive wear
