This might be a controversial one.

I wanna ride a windbreaker/ track jacket (or something similar) during winter as a shell.

I very much believe the combination of tight fitting bibs on the lower- and a more buff / V-tapered upper body will make a fire fit.

Those things are comparatively cheap.

Soo – anybody done this? I’m specifically interested in how well these „woven“ synthetic fabrics keep the wind out, since that’d be its sole purpose.

Of course I’ll onion layer myself with cycling specific kit underneath. I als don’t care much about aero, but of course I’d choose one without a hood.
