Flew to Maui with my Brompton and cycled from my hostel to the summit the next day. Hell of a climb, it took me over eight hours of grinding in my lowest gear (modified the front chainring to be 39T at least).
Incredible views throughout, and the descent was ridiculous, over 10,000ft of just gliding back down.

Smart move on switching to a 39T! I’m not a big fan of grinding away in 1-minus but have done so in my 50T on small climbs when needed. Great pics!
So…Did you check your bike or put it in the overhead? Flew Dallas-London in 2024 with mine in the overhead.
