A quiet start under ancient olive trees, with the sun still hiding low on the horizon. No rain overnight, a dry tent, and already warm before breakfast. The road gets calmer and more beautiful, with a twisty descent that reminds us why downhill corners are pure joy.
The climbs bite back, as they always do, but a friendly wave from a motorcyclist lifts the mood. Lunch comes with company: a bold little park kitten, clearly convinced our food was hers. We joke about taking her along, but she has places to be.
The ride into Córdoba feels hectic at first, but the historic center quickly steals the show. The Mezquita is nothing short of breathtaking — a place where centuries and cultures meet. We end the day underground in a former Roman bathhouse turned bar.
2450 km done. Onward. 🚴♂️
