Same question as others had: When you say "turn your body" do you just mean that you're leaning over in the same plane, or are you twisting your torso? Thanks!
Is that working glute medius?
Too difficult for me with slightly arthritic hips Will but I am always interested in your tips. Now I am doing the sitting down and getting up from a hard chair as often as I can. Thanks 😊
You twice said that the exercise involves turning the body, yet I see no rotation of your body. I believe you should have said that you “tilt” the body. Please clarify.
This 75f will be doing these. Thank you, Dear Heart.❤
Really need a view from a different angle to see how you are turning your body
More on posture,balance,mobility!😊
Did anybody else feel the burn in the raised-leg glute? Ouch!😅
Sir u r the best thx u
Really fantastic for gluteus meds!
Wow! Quick glute activation!

For everyone asking about twisting/turning, just do the exercise like he does in the vid. Don't try to rotate, just lean. You should be able to feel it directly in your glutes after a set. Having said that, I always vary my posture slightly when doing a new exercise to see where it affects MY muscles instead of assuming that we're all alike. Body builders do that and get quite good at it. (Thanks, Arnold.)
He's not twisting. He's turning like the hands on a clock. Parallel side bend?
OMG he is sooo handsome 😛
Great exercise Will!!!
Nice and useful. If it's necessery to hold leg for some time in the air and then do the other leg, somewhat harder. If not, eeeasy!
This is very helpful – I will do more of these glute exercises. Love these short videos!
Half moon in yoga, sort of
Are you turning your body slightly towards the floor?
Can I hold on to a chair when I do this please?
Can't see the turn. Please do again so we know how to do correctly.
A great exercise; will incorporate into my routine!
Very useful clips and explanations!! There is a set of exercises for lose abdominal fat ? Thanks!
I really only feel the glutes of the moving leg😂we need this exercise in profile view please.
👍
God bless you Doctor 👍
I’ll try these! 10, works well… should I add a bit more weight to hold in my hands? Or wear my weighted vest?
Can you do that kind of exercise when you have a psychotic pain that comes from the back to your hips. Does that relevate the problem?
For helps, at least? Thank you
This is very unclear
One year into a re-injured meniscus tear that had nearly healed, my body, joints and muscles are now so out of balance, I can’t even stand on one leg for more than a few seconds. 😢 And I now have a bowed leg that started about 7 months ago. I never had a bowed leg in my life. I was a body builder and a competitive dancer.
Do I stand on just one leg all thru the exercise- meaning balancing for 10 reps? I tend to lose my balance after a few.
This is weird cause this is something that I do every other day just because… and you know so many people been complementing me on my butt and how round it is☺️🤷♀️
What’s the Red thing on the wall? 🤔
I like this 👍❤😊
Yes. Thanks Will. Did 10 on each side and then did the sit to stand on one leg 10 times. I love these reminders.
I can hold a chair or wall for support
Make sure you’re near a wall to hang on to. Difficult to stand on one leg on its own, let alone with also tilting the body
❤🙌🔥👏👏👏….ouch..😳
This would have been extremely helpful if someone told me about this 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the medical community where I live solely believe in drugs will fix everything mentally. I now know that drugs do more harm than good. Any type of drugs, even something as simple as Tylenol.
Been doing these religiously…you couldn’t shove a needle up my ass with a jackhammer now 💪
Thank you!
well you can tell the glutes are on fire , I saw the red reflection on the wall great exercise
Just have to.
Not fall over now
Can’t see how you are turning your body, forwards, backwards?
Thank you
is this ok for someone with hip arthritis? I have been told I should strengthen my glutes
Thank you.
