It clicks multiple times per second, as if every link in the chain is grinding. It's the back wheel I replaced, and it sounds a bit as if I'm trying to change gear, but I'm not. I've found the adjuster for the gear change cable and changed, and I've been unable to solve it with that. I'm stuck on the problem, at the moment – if I just ride like this, the chain will break at some inconvenient moment.
I can't see anything the chain could be rubbing on.
