My oldest Son was a BMX rider years ago. He would spend 500-1500. On his bikes. I was scared. But he loved it. My cousin is Felix Ruiz a pro BMX bike rider. Loved watching them ride.

I gotta tell you guys, I'm in my late '40s and I'm trying to teach my kid how to BMX, and my confidence has been a bit shaken because not only have I forgotten how to do a lot of the tricks I used to be able to do (or I'm too old and out of shape), I've come to find out that after watching some YouTube how-to videos, I was doing the tricks all wrong the whole time. But after watching you guys ride BMX, I've got a whole new level of confidence about my abilities. Thanks for that.

Unless u had every piece custom built just for u theres no reason for one of our bikes to cost $10K. The most i ever spent was $1500 and it lasted me for many years with only the occasional flat or tire grip wear n tear.
