Come with me visiting the Lanstroper Ei. A listed building (water Tower) in Dortmund Germany.
Further travelling through the east side of Dortmund.
The Lanstrop Egg, built in 1904–1905, ensured water supply for the 4 nearby mines and the districts of Derne, Lanstrop, Mengede, and Brambauer. The structure is 14 m wide, 55.5 m high, weighs 180 tons, and holds 2,000 m³ of water.
It ceased operation as a water tower in 1981 and is now a listed building.
